CMHR to close for regular maintenance

The Canadian Museum for Human Rights is taking some time to tidy.
The museum will be closed for its annual maintenance week beginning Sunday and will reopen to the public on Jan. 21.
During the closure, staff will be inspecting artifacts, deep cleaning and preparing for its next exhibition.
Love in a Dangerous Time: Canada’s LGBT Purge is set to open Jan. 31 and explores the Canadian government’s systemic discrimination of LGBTTQ+ federal employees, Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP members from the 1950s to ’90s.
