Collaros placed on six-game injured list

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have placed starting quarterback Zach Collaros on the six-game injured list.

Collaros, 37, suffered a neck injury in the second quarter of the team’s 14-13 victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats back on July 5 when he was sacked from the blindside by Reggie Stubblefield.

Collaros hasn’t played or practised since.

Dru Brown started last week’s 30-21 win over the Toronto Argonauts and he’ll once again be under centre tomorrow in Ottawa when the Bombers (3-2) battle the Redblacks (0-5).

Collaros was initially put on the one-game injured list.
