Chief Peguis Trail and Henderson Highway reopens after collision

The intersection of Chief Peguis Trail and Henderson Highway has fully reopened after a collision late Monday night.

The City of Winnipeg posted on X at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday that the intersection had reopened to traffic in all directions, although some emergency vehicles remained in the southbound curb lane on Henderson.

The Winnipeg Police Service told the Free Press it had no information on the collision. Reports said one person was taken to hospital.

Buses were rerouted during the closures.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area, with increased traffic being seen on Rothesay Street, McIvor Avenue and Gateway Road, the city said on X.
