Woman in critical condition after Lagimodiere Boulevard crash

A woman was transported to hospital in critical condition after a collision on Lagimodiere Boulevard on Friday morning.
The crash, involving multiple vehicles, happened at about 10:20 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service said.
A woman was transported to hospital in critical condition by a STARS air ambulance helicopter. A man was transported to hospital by the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service. A WPS spokesman did not know the man’s condition late Friday afternoon.
The WPS is asking anyone with information about the crash, or related video, to contact traffic division investigators at 204-986-7085 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 204-786-8477 (TIPS).
The northbound lanes of Lagimodiere between Abinojii Mikanah (formerly known as Bishop Grandin Boulevard) and Fermor Avenue remained closed as of 3:30 p.m. Police asked motorists to avoid the area.
