Crews respond to garage fire on Langside

Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service was called to a fire in a vacant, two-and-a-half storey residence on the 500 block of Langside Street early this morning.

When crews arrived just before 4 a.m., they found a detached garage adjacent to the vacant residence on fire. Firefighters began an offensive attack and the fire was declared under control by 4:10 a.m.

No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.
