RCMP continue to search for a suspect after a Dauphin business was robbed of cash at knifepoint on consecutive nights.
The latest incident at the Main Street business happened at about 9 p.m. Thursday. The employee gave police the same description of the robber as in the Wednesday incident and said the culprit had again fled on foot in the same direction.
The robber again threatened the employee, who was not hurt in either incident, with a hunting knife. The culprit was described as 5-7 in height and was wearing all black clothing, including a balaclava.
The first incident happened at about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday. RCMP used a police dog and a drone to search for a suspect after both robberies.
RCMP asked anyone with information about the robberies to contact their Dauphin detachment at 204-622-5020, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or online.
