Rachel Homan fired at a perfect 100 per cent efficiency as her team from Ottawa defeated Gimli’s Kerri Einarson 6-1 in nine ends in the women’s national curling championship final at Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay, Ont.

It’s the fifth national title and second in a row for Homan, who now sits alone in second for most wins as a skip at the event.

Einarson, who shot 76 per cent in the contest, conceded steals of one, two and one in the last three ends, respectively.

Homan will once again represent Canada at the world curling championship in Uijeongbu, South Korea, March 15-23.
