Electrical malfunction suspected cause of house fire

A house fire on Harvard Avenue late Thursday night is believed to have been caused by an electrical malfunction.
Firefighters were sent to the two-storey house on the 200 block at 10:13 p.m. and declared the fire under control at 10:50 p.m.
Everyone inside got out before crews arrived. The city’s emergency social services team was sent there to help the residents.
Earlier Thursday, at 5:59 p.m., crews were sent to a vacant house on the 600 block of Agnes Street and declared the fire under control an hour later.
