Employee attacked with knife, customer arrested

An employee suffered injuries to his face when a customer who had been asked to leave returned with a knife, police said.
Police were sent to the establishment on the 800 block of Main Street at about 5:10 p.m. Saturday.
Officers learned a 22-year-old man assaulted the 62-year-old victim, the Winnipeg Police Service said Tuesday. The older man was transported to hospital and treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries, the WPS said.
Officers arrested a man at the establishment and seized a knife.
A 22-year-old Winnipeggger is charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon. He was detained in custody.
