Fire destroys house on Spence

A building in the 100 block of Spence Street was partially destroyed by fire early Monday morning.

Firefighters were on scene at the vacant house at 149 Spence St. before 5:20 a.m. A crane could be seeing spreading water on the burning building from above.

Flames and black smoke could be seen inside and atop the building from the back of the house.
