Firefighters extinguish blaze on Selkirk Avenue

The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service was called to a home on the 600 block of Selkirk Avenue Saturday morning for reports of a fire, a media release states.

When crews arrived around 11:16 a.m., smoke was coming from the house. The fire was declared under control at 11:30 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
