Five people were arrested after a man was stabbed in Thompson.
RCMP were sent to a home on Ashberry Place at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers found two men — one with injuries to his face — outside and another inside who had been stabbed multiple times. The stabbing victim, a 35-year-old man, told officers a shirtless suspect had fled the building.
Officers helped the stabbing victim until emergency crews arrived. He was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Police arrested five Thompson residents — three men ages 18, 21 and 42, and two women ages 18 and 41. A shirtless man was among the five. All five know each other, RCMP said in a news release Thursday.
