Five people were taken to hospital, including three in critical condition, after they were stabbed on Mountain Avenue early Monday.
Police were sent to the 500 block at about 4 a.m. and were told two people had been stabbed outside.
Two of the five injured people were taken to hospital in stable condition, and all five were stable as of late that morning, the Winnipeg Police Service said in a news release.
“There is no risk to public safety, as this appears to be an isolated incident involving a group of people who were fighting,” the release said.
