God’s Lake Narrows man dies after altercation

Manitoba RCMP are investigating a man’s death following an altercation in God’s Lake Narrows.

Officers were called about the altercation at a home in the community at about 3:30 a.m. Monday and were told an injured man had been taken to the local nursing station.

Mounties found the man, 51, from God’s Lake Narrows, in the station, where he had been pronounced dead.

Local RCMP, along with major crimes and forensics investigators, are probing the incident as a homicide.
