The Winnipeg Goldeyes’ preseason contest against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, scheduled for 11 a.m. at Fargo’s Newman Outdoor Field, has been cancelled due to unplayable field conditions caused by heavy rain.
The Goldeyes opened their six-game exhibition schedule with a 6-4 loss to the RedHawks on Wednesday.
The club will hold a practice today before heading to Sioux Falls for a pair of games against the Canaries on Friday and Saturday. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 7 p.m.
