Police seized a 9mm handgun and ammunition after stopping a vehicle on Main Street early Wednesday.
Officers patrolling in the North End noticed multiple people not wearing seatbelts in a Dodge Dart headed west on Redwood Avenue near Main shortly after 1 a.m.
They stopped the vehicle on the 800 block of Main and saw open liquor and a canister of bear spray in the car, the Winnipeg Police Service said in a news release Thursday.
Police later found the gun, six rounds of ammunition, cash and more than six grams of cocaine with an estimated street value of more than $600, the WPS said.
Two men, ages 35 and 28, are facing multiple charges. Both were detained in custody.
