Heat warning for Country Thunder attendees

Attendees of Thursday’s Country Thunder concert will be allowed to bring sealed plastic or reusable water bottles into Princess Auto Stadium, as the temperature is expected to hit 31 C later in the day.

A media release from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Thursday recommended anyone coming stay hydrated throughout the day, wear light and breathable clothing, and “take proactive measures to ensure their health and safety throughout the event.”

Medical personnel will be accessible on site.
