Crews were twice sent to Magellan Aerospace to extinguish fires Wednesday.

Firefighters were sent to the building at 660 Berry St. at 4:07 p.m. and declared the fire there under control at 5:48 p.m. All employees inside exited on their own.

Crews were sent back to the building at 7:30 p.m. after an unnoticed hotspot reignited and quickly brought the fire under control.

At 5:09 p.m., Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews were sent to a fire at a one-and-a-half storey house on the 800 block of Pritchard Avenue. Crews declared the fire under control at 5:35 p.m.

All the people inside the house got out safely. Firefighters found three cats in the home and had to revive one of them.
