Winnipeg Jets captain Adam Lowry is set to make his season debut on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Kings.

Lowry confirmed the news on Monday before the team departed to California to open a six-game road trip when he was asked who he might have to lobby more to get final clearance, the coaching staff or the training staff?

“That decision has been made,” said Lowry, who skated on a line with Nino Niederreiter and Tanner Pearson during Monday’s on-ice workout.

Lowry missed the first 12 games of the campaign after undergoing off-season hip surgery.

The Jets are riding a three-game winning streak and boast a record of 9-3-0.

Jets head coach Scott Arniel said that forward Morgan Barron is out week-to-week after suffering an injury in Saturday’s s 5-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins, while forward Gustav Nyquist remains day-to-day with an undisclosed injury.
