The Winnipeg Jets beat the St. Louis Blues 3-2 on Sunday afternoon at Canada Life Centre.

Haydn Fleury scored his first goal in two years while Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor both notched their 31st of the season to lead the way offensively. Morgan Barron chipped in with a pair of assists.

Backup goaltender Eric Comrie, starting for the first time in nine games after starting goalie Connor Hellebuyck led the Jets over league-leading Avalanche.

The Jets have now moved within four points of the final Western Conference wildcard spot, although that could change later this evening with both the San Jose Sharks and Seattle Kraken in action.

Comrie stopped 29 of 31 shots he faced to record his fifth consecutive victory.

Winnipeg will wrap up its eight-game homestand on Tuesday against the Nashville Predators.
