Jets fall to Senators in overtime

The Winnipeg Jets let a late lead slip away, falling 3-2 in overtime to the Ottawa Senators on Monday night at Canada Life Centre.

Jake Sanderson tied the game with just under two minutes left in regulation, and then Brady Tkachuk won it during the three-on-three session. Nick Cousins had scored earlier in the game.

Neal Pionk and Logan Stanley had the Winnipeg goals.

Connor Hellebuyck stopped 28 of 31 shots he faced while Linus Ullmark turned aside 23 of 25 pucks.

The Jets are now 15-15-2 on the season, while Ottawa improves to 15-13-4.

Winnipeg now hits the road for three straight games starting Wednesday night in St. Louis.
