The Winnipeg Jets have lost another key player to injury.
Forward Cole Perfetti suffered a high-ankle sprain in Friday’s final preseason game in Calgary and is out “week-to-week” according to head coach Scott Arniel.
Perfetti joins captain Adam Lowry (hip surgery) and defenceman Dylan Samberg (broken wrist) on the sidelines.
Winnipeg begins the 2025-26 season on Thursday when they host the Dallas Stars at Canada Life Centre.
