ST. PAUL – Kyle Connor completed the comeback, ripping a wicked wrist shot past Minnesota Wild goaltender Filip Gustavsson just 46 seconds into overtime to give the Winnipeg Jets a 4-3 victory on Tuesday night.
Nino Niederreiter had scored with just under eight minutes left in regulation to tie it up.
The Jets grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first period off goals by Gabriel Vilardi and Vladislav Namestnikov just 22 seconds apart, only to see the home team score the next three.
Connor Hellebuyck stopped 33 of 36 shots he faced.
Winnipeg hits the 10-game mark with a record of 7-3-0. Minnesota falls to 3-5-3.
The Jets return to action Thursday when they host the Chicago Blackhawks to open a two-game homestand.
