Connor Hellebuyck has hit another impressive milestone.

The Winnipeg Jets goalie recorded 26 saves in a 5-2 victory over the Nashville Predators on Tuesday, which made Hellebuyck the 30th goalie in NHL history to reach 300 wins and 40-plus shutouts.

The Jets’ penalty kill played a major role in the game, killing off six-of-seven minors, including a lengthy five-on-three during the third period.

The Jets, who snapped a three-game losing streak, improved to 28-12-2 on the season and will continue this eight-game homestand on Friday against the Los Angeles Kings.

The victory came at a cost as defenceman Josh Morrissey left the game in the second period with a lower-body injury.
