Jets win third straight game

The Winnipeg Jets are going streaking.
A 5-2 victory on Thursday at Philadelphia was the club’s third straight after opening the new season with a loss to the Dallas Stars.
Mark Scheifele led the way with two goals, while Morgan Barron, Vlad Namestnikov and Tanner Pearson had singles. Kyle Connor chipped in with a pair of assists while Connor Hellebuyck stopped 15 of the 17 shots he faced.
The Jets now return home to take on the Nashville Predators on Saturday night at Canada Life Centre.
