Crash at Inkster Boulevard and King Edward Street fatal

One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash at Inkster Boulevard and King Edward Street late Sunday night.

The crash happened at about 11:30 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service said.

Four occupants of the car were transported to hospital with serious injuries. One person later died from their injuries, while the other three have been upgraded to stable condition, the WPS said late Monday morning.

Police remained at the scene after the Monday morning rush hour.

The WPS traffic division is asking anyone with information about the crash, including security or dash-camera video, to call investigators at 204-986-7085 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477 (TIPS).
