Winnipeg Jets captain Adam Lowry has signed a five-year contract extension with the club.
The 32-year-old, who was set to become an unrestricted free agent next summer, will make US $5 million per season through 2030-31. That’s a jump from the US $3.25 million he was currently earning.
Lowry joins Connor Hellebuyck, Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor as other drafted and developed players now likely to be “Jets for life.”
