Major traffic disruption this weekend at St. Anne’s Road and Abinojii Mikanah

The city is warning of major traffic disruptions this weekend, as it paves a busy south Winnipeg intersection.

“Traffic movements will be very limited” where St. Anne’s Road and Abinojii Mikanah meet, with many vehicles rerouted, a city press release warns.

From 6 a.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Sunday, northbound and southbound St. Anne’s traffic will be diverted to Abinojii Mikanah, with no left turns or through travel allowed.

Through traffic on westbound and eastbound Abinojii Mikanah will be limited to one lane each, with no left turns permitted onto St. Anne’s. Vehicles travelling along Abinojii will be able to turn right.

Drivers are advised to use alternate routes and anticipate delays in the area.
