Man, 57, accused of indecent act on Transit bus

A 57-year-old man is facing an indecent act charge following an incident on a city bus on Monday.

Police say a teenage girl riding the same bus in River Heights reported the incident around 3 p.m.

Officers caught up to the bus at the corner of Osborne Street and Broadway and took the man into custody without incident.

No injuries were reported.

Police say the teen saw the incident and called police after getting off at a stop.

The suspect was released on an undertaking as mandated by the Criminal Code.
