A man has been arrested after allegedly pointing a gun at nightclub security staff early Saturday morning, say police.
Winnipeg police say they responded to the call in the 400 block of Main Street just before 1 a.m. Saturday. Police say club security removed a man from the business “due to his aggressive behaviour” and that outside, he pulled out what looked to be a handgun and waved it around. No shots were fired.
Officers located and arrested the suspect near Garry Street. A replica BB gun was located and seized. The 30-year-old man is charged with possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, pointing a firearm and two counts of assault with a weapon.
