A 29-year-old man has been arrested after nearly $2,000 worth of goods were stolen and resold over the course of a month-long shoplifting spree.
The man allegedly stole electronics and toys from various businesses between Oct. 13 and Nov. 11 before reselling the items to a “specialty store,” the Winnipeg Police Service said in a media release Saturday.
The suspect was arrested Friday and has been charged with four counts of theft under $5,000, and single counts of trafficking property obtained by crime under $5,000 and failure to comply with a probation order. He was detained in custody.
