Man arrested after threats uttered at Thompson hospital

A 44-year-old man from Thompson has been arrested after allegedly uttering threats at the Thompson General Hospital Oct. 20.

Around 8 p.m. last Friday Thompson RCMP say the man entered the hospital, uttered threats, and told those in the waiting room he would return to with a firearm.

The suspect then took out his phone and took photos of those in the waiting room before leaving, say RCMP.

The man was located at a residence in Thompson and taken into custody. No firearms were located.
