Man arrested for online luring and sexual assault

A 23-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly luring a teenager online to his home and sexually assaulting the teen.
Winnipeg police said a man began communicating with a teen online last June after meeting through social media.
The man met the teen in person and they went to the man’s residence where the teen was given drugs and alcohol and sexually assaulted over several days.
Ahmed Amr Abdelgalil has been charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, and luring a person under 16 through telecommunication.
Abdelgalil has been detained in custody.
