A man is facing charges after police say he got into an argument with a teenager and then pointed a shotgun at him.
Officers met with the victim Sunday afternoon, and learned he was walking down a back lane when he began arguing with a man, the Winnipeg Police Service said in a news release Monday.
The victim left, but when he passed the laneway again later on, the suspect was standing on a back porch and pointed the gun at the teen. The teen ran to safety and phoned police, WPS said.
Officers arrested a 41-year-old man around 5 p.m. that day. Police seized a shotgun, two rifles and ammunition. The man is facing charges for pointing a firearm and improperly storing firearms.
He was taken into custody, police said.
