A Lake St. Martin First Nation man is facing numerous charges after police raided a home in the community searching for weapons.

Gypsumville RCMP received a weapons complaint on Dec. 2 and obtained a search warrant for the home after a “a lengthy investigation.”

Officers raided the home Friday and seized “a significant number” of guns and ammunition as well as silencers, hard body armour and cocaine.

A 19-year-old man is facing numerous charges. Two other Lake St. Martin men, ages 28 and 27, were also arrested and charged with uttering threats. The 27-year-old man was released on an undertaking.
