Man charged with having hidden weapon on bus

A Winnipeg man has been arrested after being found with an unloaded air pistol on a Transit Winnipeg bus.
Winnipeg police said a passenger saw the weapon and told the bus driver who called police on Thursday at about 5:45 p.m.
The suspect was arrested as he got off the bus with the air pistol found on him. Police said no one was injured or threatened during the incident and the suspect didn’t point the firearm at anyone.
A 34-year-old man is facing charges of possession of a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon, prohibited device or ammunition.
The suspect was released on an undertaking.
