Man found on Cumberland is city’s latest homicide victim

City police are investigating the city’s latest slaying after a man found injured on Cumberland Avenue later died.

Officers were sent to the 300 block at about 1 a.m. Friday and found a man on the ground “suffering from serious upper body injuries.” They gave the 39-year-old victim emergency medical care, including the use of chest seals.

The man was transported to hospital in critical condition and died there.
