A man was killed when his vehicle hit a hydro pole and then a tree in Glenboro early Thursday.
RCMP were sent to the scene of the single-vehicle collision on Railway Avenue at about 5:15 a.m.
The lone person in the vehicle, a 28-year-old man from Cypress River, was declared dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt, RCMP said in a news release Friday.
Some parts of Glenboro were without electricity for a short time after the crash, police said.
