Man lying on road struck, killed in God’s Lake Narrows

A 23-year-old man was struck and killed by a water truck while he was lying on a road in God’s Lake Narrows late at night.

RCMP were sent to the crash scene on Wasahak Road at about 10 p.m. on March 28. The commercial truck, driven by a 31-year-old local woman, was southbound when it struck the God’s Lake Narrows man. The driver stopped at the scene and immediately called police, RCMP said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
