Man performed indecent act in front of Kelvin students, school says

A man was arrested after approaching four students and performing an indecent act Monday, officials from Kelvin High School said Monday.
A letter to parents said the incident happened during a physical education class being held at nearby Munson Park.
“It’s an unfortunate incident,” Winnipeg School Division superintendent Matt Henderson said, adding students quickly got away and informed school staff members.
Winnipeg Police Service spokesman Const. Claude Chancy said officers were sent to the park shortly after 10:30 a.m.
A 42-year-old man was arrested in the area shortly after 11 a.m., Chancy said. The man is facing a charge of performing an indecent act.
