Man sought in Pukatawagan home invasion

RCMP in Pukatawagan are searching for a man accused of an armed home invasion in the northern community late Sunday night.
Mounties were sent to the home at about 11:45 p.m. and found the house’s front damaged.
Residents told officers a man they knew threatened a woman, 27, with a machete before fleeing.
Young children were inside at the time. No one was hurt, police said in a news release Tuesday.
RCMP identified the man as Triston Bear, 27. An arrest warrant had already been issued for Bear for a separate incident, in addition to pending break-and-enter and assault with a weapon charges.
