Man stabbed on city bus in North End, suspects sought

A man was transported to hospital in unstable condition after he was stabbed on a bus in the North End late Tuesday afternoon.

Police were sent to an area near Main Street and Selkirk Avenue at about 5 p.m. after a man in his 30s was stabbed during an unprovoked altercation with two suspects. The male and female suspects fled, and police were contacted.

The man was transported to hospital, and his condition was later upgraded to stable..

The Winnipeg Police Service said it is working with Winnipeg Transit to get descriptions of the suspects.
