Man stabbed to death at Millennium Library, police investigating

A man was stabbed to death on the main floor of the Millennium Library on Sunday.
The stabbing was a result of a dispute between patrons who had been causing disturbances in the library for most of the day, the Free Press has learned.
Winnipeg police had not released details of the homicide as of the evening.
Library staff attempted to provide aid to the man but he succumbed to his injuries before paramedics could arrive on the scene.
The downtown library will be closed Monday while the investigation continues.
It is unclear whether police were able to apprehend a suspect following the incident.
