A Weston-area traffic stop ended with the arrest of a man on a bicycle who had three warrants out for his arrest Wednesday afternoon.

Officers made the stop after seeing a man violate the Highway Traffic Act at the intersection of Elgin Avenue West and Worth Street at about 2:35 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service said Friday.

Police seized a loaded Airsoft pistol, a folding knife, a firearm barrel, a forged identification card and more than 20 identity documents and credit cards.

A 32-year-old man is charged with multiple new offences.
