Mounties seized weapons, guns, jewelry and gang attire from a property in Pinaymootang First Nation Thursday, resulting in charges for two Winnipeg men.

Officers received information about possible drug trafficking connected to a property in the community on Jan. 20, and executed a search warrant two days later, Manitoba RCMP said in a news release Friday.

The community is located about 200 kilometres north of Winnipeg, in the Interlake region.

Two men from Winnipeg, aged 25 and 42, are facing a raft of charges, including possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes and possession of weapons contrary to a court order.

One of the accused was also wanted for robbery, RCMP said.

Mounties in Camperville, about 110 kilometres west of Pinaymootang, also seized 50 grams of cocaine and $22,000 in cash in a separate raid on Tuesday, RCMP said in another release.

A 33-year-old man and 27-year-old woman were charged with trafficking, possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes and possession of property obtained by crime.
