Update: Missing Thompson teenager safely located

17-year-old Melvin James Spence who was last seen Dec. 23 in Winnipeg, has been safely located.

He had come to the city with his mother and told family members he would be walking back to Thompson. On December 27, 2024, Thompson RCMP received a report that Spence went missing from an address located in Winnipeg.

The Thompson RCMP would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.
