More measles exposure sites announced

The province is notifying the public of more locations in southern Manitoba where people might have been exposed to measles.

One is the emergency department at Boundary Trails Health Centre, which is located between Winkler and Morden, on three dates: June 19 from 9:40 a.m. to 3:20 p.m., Friday from 10:10 p.m. to 1:20 a.m. and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The other is urgent care at the C.W. Wiebe Medical Centre in Winkler on June 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Public health officials asked anyone who was in those locations during those times to check their immunization records and ensure they are up to date with measles vaccines.
