More tips sought on suspect in soccer player homicide

Winnipeg police are renewing calls for tips on the whereabouts of an accused killer who’s been on the lam since July 2024.
Homicide detectives believe Tresor Horimbere, 23, may be travelling throughout Canada to avoid arrest, the Winnipeg Police Service said Friday.
Horimbere is accused of first-degree murder in the brazen shooting of amateur soccer star Mohamed Yusuf Abdullahi, 22, after a Canada Africa Cup of Nations game in July 2024.
The non-profit Bolo Program is offering a $100,000 reward for information that leads to Horimbere’s arrest.
He’s Black, about 5-8 and 120 lbs. He should should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
