Motorcyclist hospitalized after collision

One man was seriously hurt Wednesday when a motorcycle and a car collided.

The 66-year-old man was driving his Harley Davidson eastbound on Powers Street near Redwood Avenue when it collided with a Honda Civic shortly after 5 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service said in a news release Friday.

He was taken to hospital in stable condition with a serious injury to his lower body. The driver of the car remained at the scene, the WPS said.
