Mounties searching for two suspects in Cross Lake threats

RCMP are searching for two suspects who ran into a wooded area after people in Cross Lake were threatened with handguns.

Mounties began receiving reports shortly after 5:30 p.m. Saturday that multiple people in a blue SUV were threatening people.

Officers found the vehicle, but the driver would not pull over. The vehicle, which was later determined to be stolen, stopped behind the community’s high school.

Four people were seen running into a wooded area, and police tracked and arrested two people.
